Dax Frost (born November 27, 2015) was an American football cornerback for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Central Florida (UCF) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Dax Frost was born in Myrtle Beach, far off of where his older brother, Baxter Frost born. He loved his basketball father, and his soccer mother for always loving him to the fullest. While his brother took more to his mom's side, Dax was more like his father, and played basketball in his middle school. He was one of the best in the business and was 6 foot tall as an 8th grader! But all went downhill once he stopped growing. Suddenly, he couldn't keep up with anyone else, and his relationship with his father slowly went downhill, as did he. He started losing interest in nearly everything, and his grades showed that. He put everything off until his junior year of high school, when his longtime friend died in a horrific car crash. He realized that life can end so fast, and he knew he needed to make his life count, and not get thrown away by drugs and gangs. That provoked him to try out for his school football team. Days of pestering the coach to let him try out turned into a bonus for him, as coach let him try out at the beginning of his senior season. Little did the coach know, Dax would become an all-time player for Myrtle Beach high. He picked off 4 star recruit Bilbo McBill 3 times in one practice, and the young QB proclaimed to Coach Zing that they had to let Dax start. And just like that, the #2 CB spot was his. That wouldn't last for long, as quickly, the #1 spot on the depth chart would be his. His last year of high school he had 6 interceptions, and 2 touchdowns! That was enough to earn him a 3 star rating, and the ability to commit to UCF.

College career

Entering the NCAA as a true freshman in 2031, Dax was barely on the field, but he was still able to make an impact a pick six in his teams bowl game, other than that, his season was truly forgettable. His sophomore year was a huge improvement, at least statistically. Instead of having 12 tackles, he saw the field much more and got 30 tackles for himself. He also had a fumble recovery that he returned inside the ten, before being tackled by the speedster Ty Mountain. He was luckily able to have 2 interceptions on the year, but a blown coverage cost his team a bowl game. Of course, having a true freshman at QB didn't exactly help things. The last year of college was his best year so far as a football player. He played in every single game and his stats showed it. He had a league leading 12 interceptions, and 5 touchdowns, 2 on defense, and 3 off of kick returns. Those stats, as well as leading UCF to the #1 seed, were good enough for a Heisman trophy award. He just wishes that his DSFL career and NSFL career will be just as good.

Professional career

S20

So far, Dax Frost's professional career has been anything but superb, he has had 0 awards, 0 touchdowns, and played so bad to the point where before entering the NSFL Draft, he decided to switch to a RB. But before we talk about that, lets look at the how Dax did during the season. Myrtle Beach had a historic defense this year, and evolved into somewhat of a "No Fly Zone" that dominated DSFL QB's. Dax had two future first rounders playing with him in the secondary, (Prince Vegeta and Hehateme Picksix) and both of those players were nominated for DBOTY as well as DROTY. Dax however, was left out, and often wasn't able to shine with so many talented people in the secondary. He had a modest season and was middle of the pack state wise with only 2 interceptions and 10 pass deflections. Teammates described his leadership quality as some of the best, and he was able to rally his guys to a 12-2 record and Ultimini appearance. There wasn't much that he could do that game, and while the "No Fly Zone" worked in the Ultimini, penalties and Minnesota's incredible running game was enough to end the season for him and the rest of MB. Surprising many, Frost switched positions at the end of the s20 season, and many suspect as the reason he fell to pick 29 at YKW. Luckily for him, this allows him to refine his running ability in the DSFL for 1 more season, and finally claim Myrtle Beach the Ultimini they deserve.

S21

After being sent back down to Myrtle Beach, Dax Frost honed in on his running skills in the offseason, and his s21 stats showed that. Frost had an absolutely insane season, and is in contention for most of the offensive awards. He even did well in the punt return game, with a PR TD, and multiple 50+ yard returns. Frost was 2nd in the DSFL in rushing yards, and led the league in total touchdowns by 4. (2 rush, 1 receiving, 1 PR) Frost had nearly 1600 yards, with 14 total TD's. The duo of him and MB teammate J.B Apollo were absolutely dominate, and the MB OL deserves major credit for their success. With a healthy 4.9 average, Frost showed he can handle the work horse load after playing at CB for much of his career up to this point. Myrtle Beach finally won an Ultimini this season, and completely dominated the game. QB Chris Ramos finally showed his dual threat ability, and won Ultimini MVP. Frost played a much more minor part in the game, however he played good enough in the regular season just to get them to the game. In the offseason, the NSFL decided to expand, and with himself behind former OPOTY Mathias Hanyadi, Frost decided to join an expansion team, specifically the Sarasota Sailfish. He will join fellow MB alumni Rayne Gordon to lead former DSFL MVP Zack Vega in the Sailfish's inaugural season. Frost hopes he can get the ROTY awards in the NSFL, and maybe even RBOTY.

S22

Rookie Year! Dax Frost had a pretty decent rookie year, although nothing all too incredible. Frost was able to be fourth in the league in rushing yards, however this was mostly due to the fact that for the first half of the season, Frost was relied on to carry the Sarasota offense with a rookie QB Zach Vega at the help for the first half of the season, until they traded for Chicago legend Rose Jenkins. Sarasota miraculously was able to make the playoffs over the 6-7 Philadelphia Liberty via a tie-breaker because of conference records. Unfortunately their season was cut short in the playoffs by the eventual Ultimus winners, the Colorado Yeti. Sarasota would be carried by their defense, who had the least yards allowed per play of any team, and was very good overall for the success of the expansion team. Frost in particular had over 1,000 yards and over 200 receiving yards, which was good enough to earn a nod for the Pro Bowl, being one of just a few rookies to make the Pro Bowl. Frost would not however win ROTY, losing to who also nudged him out in the DSFL for OPOTY, Acura Skyline. Sarasota would wound up not doing too much in the offseason outside of drafting, and Frost looks forward to hopefully build on his Pro Bowl caliber play for another season of success. Banks II has confirmed that he is position swapping to QB, and should add an interesting addition to the SAR ground game in S22, and while Frost may lose rushing snaps because of it, the overall team will improve. Frost is looking forward to yet another playoff berth in the future!

S23

This season was not exactly the best for Dax Frost, as he could not improve upon his rookie Pro Bowl season. In 3 more games, Frost had less attempts, less yards, however in certain aspects Dax Frost was able to improve. Frost had a higher Average Yards Per Carry, more pancakes, as well as over 1000 KR yards, and a KR TD. A slight sophomore slump for Frost, as well as the Sarasota team as a whole. Sarasota went from playoffs in year 1, to 5th seed (8-8). Just 1 game away from playoffs, however there was some good from the bad, as Sarasota was able to get the 4th overall seed after going 8-8. Unfortunately (fortunately???) Dax Frost auctioned off his legal name due to charity, and for 75 dollars someone bought it. Dax Frost's name for S24 and beyond will now be Raphtalia Chan. The future for Sarasota looks strong, as they signed star CB Xaiven Adams in Free Agency, and had a stellar draft. Rumor has it that Sarasota GMs and QB Dexter Banks want to air it out this season, in a offense similar to OPOTY Jay Cue's Arizona offense. Frost/Chan is excited to be catching the ball more this season, and hopes to make another Pro Bowl after a heavily disappointing sophomore campaign. Chan also hopes that Sarasota can get a playoff berth, hopefully higher than the #3 seed, and maybe, just maybe, make it to, and win the Ultimus. This offseason Sarasota got a new Co-GM, and big things are set in store for the future.

S24

This was a very interesting season for Raphtalia Chan, formerly known as Dax Frost. The Sarasota offense turned Air Raid and Chan had less opportunities to run the ball (still had a terrible YPC). While the running yardage decreased immensely, Chan was used in the passing game a lot more than he(she?!?) had in the past. With over 500 yards and 5 TDs, Chan proved to be a valuable asset for OPOTY Dexter Banks II. Chan also broke a ISFL record this season. The longest punt return EVER! The worst part is that Chan didn't even get a touchdown on the record setting 95 yard return. Chan had a personal ISFL record broken as well, with 10 total TDs beating out last season's 9. Sadly, this was yet another season without a Pro Bowl for Chan, but the Sarasota Sailfish team finally broke out. After missing playoffs last season, the Sailfish made the playoffs with the #2 seed and a 12-4 record. Haha Mango-Panda and Mike Witheblock both had incredible breakout seasons and the Sailfish dominated in awards (none for Chan however). S25 should be a similar for both Chan and the Sarasota franchise, as nearly the entire team is the same as it was last season. Chan will be 3rd best TPE RB this season and while that should equate to a good season, the Air Raid offense of Sarasota makes it unlikely for Chan to get much recognition this season. Raphtalia Chan will be an interesting storyline this season, but in S26 she(he?) should have a breakout season and finally get the award she/he has been waiting for all these seasons.
